David Frank, CFP®, CIMA® is a lifelong Baltimorean with deep roots in the community and over three decades of experience helping clients navigate the complexities of wealth management. Born and raised in Baltimore, David’s interest in investments sparked at an early age. His father encouraged his curiosity by giving him $100 to invest in the stock market for his 11th birthday, igniting a lifelong passion for finance. This early experience laid the foundation for David’s career, where he combines investment knowledge with strategic financial planning to help clients achieve their goals.
David graduated with honors from the University of Baltimore, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems. His professional journey took him from investments to comprehensive financial planning, where he holds both the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designations.
David’s career is defined by his commitment to finding creative financial solutions for his clients. “For me, it’s all about discovering missed opportunities and crafting advice that truly makes a difference,” he shares. His passion for teaching is evident in how he walks clients through complex strategies, striving to ensure they understand the solutions being proposed. Whether it’s identifying tax efficiencies or refining investment strategies, David’s approach is both meticulous and compassionate.
Throughout his career, David has received numerous accolades, including consistently earning the Five Star Wealth Manager Award (2014-2024)***, Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Management Team Member (2024 and 2026)** and Forbes’ Best-In-State Wealth Advisors in 2024*. We believe these recognitions reflect his dedication to delivering personalized, impactful advice to every client he serves.
Outside of work, David is equally dedicated to his community. For the last four years, he and his family have made lunches every weekend for the homeless—a tradition that has become a cornerstone of their weekends. During the pandemic, they also donated thousands of bags of homemade granola to frontline medical workers across the country. His commitment to being in the right place at the right time extends beyond the office—David has played a pivotal role in saving lives, including orchestrating a kidney donation and insisting on medical attention for a colleague that ultimately saved his life.
David and his wife, Martha, enjoy traveling, hiking, cooking, attending concerts, and going to the theater with their two children, Ryan and Isabel. He also finds joy in volunteering, knowing that his efforts make a tangible difference. Looking forward, David is excited about working diligently with the team to have a direct impact on the businesses and families our practice serves.
David’s philosophy is simple: “We strive to have meaningful impact on the generations of families we serve.” His clients know him as honest, hardworking, and passionate—a trusted advisor who strives to be an integral part of their financial journey, just like family.
